Dover White and Basket Beige are the two Neutrals I used to paint my dining room. I’m obsessed with stripes and I love my finished product! Our dining room is super happy now that it has a new paint job. I love painting and thought this stripe design would be perfect for this room. We have one large window on the North wall and the South wall is open with wood work but the two side walls have chair railing, which I love but it just needed a little something extra. “Stripes!” Measuring is the key… I first measured the room and divided it by the size of stripe I choose. When we built the house we had the Basket Beige painted on the wall. I then taped up the stripes and started painting… After the main paint color was down I went back through with a fine paint brush and hand trimmed the details. This gives the finishing touches. Complete!
I think my detail work is spot on… Probably all those years of polishing nails. 🙂
If you have a room that needs a little love- give it a new paint color. You’ll love it!
