I decided to use a traditional brick set 4×8 white tile for the shower. But changed it up just a bit, I used “Matte” white and the size of tile I used felt more classic to a farmhouse style. I felt like if I went with longer tiles the style would start leaning more contemporary. Something to make it stand out was I ended up grouting it with “Black” grout. It was a BOLD move but glad I did it!

I am finally getting around to writing a blog post about our Farmhouse Renovation. It has definitely been a process these last few years but something we are so excited about and I love sharing what we did with y’all.
We are still finishing renovating our 1946 Ranch. We ended up rebuilding the main house and added another structure behind the house which is our garage, storage, shop + apartment areas. (which we are still working on)
Today, I’m sharing all the details from our Master Bathroom. I have had so many questions and I thought this is a great way to answer a majority of them for you. We have 3 1/2 baths in the Farmhouse and the Master was the very last one I designed. I wanted all of the bathrooms to have there own flare. I knew exactly what I wanted for the kids baths and for our guest bathroom but for some reason I had more of a difficult time wrapping my design head around our Master! Until I found our gorgeous ceramic tile… then things started coming together. I decided on a Black & White theme with variety of chrome + black bath fixtures.
