I write this post with a heavy heart... The Friday before Mother's Day my Mom found out she has Breast Cancer. Today, she under went surgery. We pray, We wait, We love... Last weekend, I attended a fashion show that a friend of mine invited me to. I knew it was a Fundraiser but not really sure what for- as the fashion show started I almost fell off my chair when Dr. Hu thanked all of us for helping support breast cancer awareness. With the money they raise they are able to gift these amazing bags to their cancer patiences in their time of need. I spoke to Dr. Hu after the show and I expressed HOW WONDERFUL I thought her services where and … [Read more...]

Pippa’s Wedding
My heart was broken I wasn't able to attend their wedding, I unfortunately had prior plans. Ugh! Heehee... #wasntinvited - I mean FOR REAL! I am obsessed with every detail. I've always been a fan of Pippa's sister Kate ever since she started dating Prince William years ago. I fell in love with Pippa at Kate + William's wedding. Now, it's come full circle Miss Pippa Middleton married her boyfriend James Matthews this past weekend. They married on May 20th in the English countryside church in Englefield, England. Pippa had kept the identity of her wedding designer a secret until she stepped out wearing a fitted, dramatic look by English … [Read more...]
Birthday Shopping
Happy Birthday Phoebe! My sweet little niece lives (3) hours away in a small town. When she was asked what kind of a Birthday PARRTTY she wanted to have this year, she decided not to have a party but asked her Mom if she could go SHOPPING in Portland... (insert laughing emoji) Seriously, this kid- a girl after my own heart. She had a certain amount of money she could spend and OFF to the mall she went. Luckiest day EVER because Ellie and I were invited to spend the special day with her. This cute little birthday girl, managed her birthday money quite well. She had planned her stores in advanced. Build A Bear, Claire's and Jamba Juice where … [Read more...]
Easter Tablescape
This year's Easter tablescape! I love setting the table for any Holiday... I kept it simple, but classic. I'm in LOVE with the live garland I got from Grand Ave. Florist. Also, obsessing over the wire basket I used to place my Speckled Eggs. SHOP THIS LOOK: … [Read more...]
Boho Flowers
I can't get over how gorgeous these flowers were at my styled BoHo Wedding. I worked with Grand Ave. Florist to get the right vibe for this reception. We used airy greenery and white flowers. I also added flowers to the dessert table to add a softness to the wood farm table. I had the florist make large fresh eucalyptus garland for above the bar. This also hid a metal piece that was above the bar that really was an eye sore. Truth be told, I loved it so much, I got a number of compliments. I think the venue was going to rethink their design and add something permanent there. I added lighter weight garland to my large round … [Read more...]
Five Daughters Bakery
During my Mastermind Retreat my friends and I went to 12th South shopping and happened upon this delicious Five Daughters Bakery where we found the most amazing doughnuts! This particular Bakery prides themselves on having a flakey type treat. These doughnuts are so different than any other I've ever tried. They are super flakey almost like layers of a croissant. However, they aren't savory they are sweet! If you are in the Nashville area I highly recommend you stopping by for a special treat. … [Read more...]
Pool Style
Nothing makes me happier than laying by the poolside. Spring Break is always one of our favorite family vacations. Living in Oregon, we don't see much sunshine until far later in the year. When we travel to Arizona for Spring Break for Evan's baseball, Ellie and I bought a few new swim suits for the season. This one above is one of my new favorites. Now that we are home and waiting for the weather to get warm enough to wear my suits again. I can hardly wait. Happy Spring! I get commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post: SHOP THIS POST: … [Read more...]
April Showers Brings May Flowers
I can't even believe it's APRIL! I feel like I just put my Christmas decorations away. We just returned from Spring vacation- I'm super relaxed and recharged. Thank heavens we just saw some sunshine because with all this rain here in Oregon we definitely needed our vitamin D. Remember the saying "April Showers Bring May Flowers"! As a child my Mom use to say this all the time. Well, I'm hoping she is right this year. Looks like we will have FLOWERS forever... … [Read more...]
Evan’s Knee Surgery
Evan tore his ACL playing basketball... We were heart broken, he would have ACL surgery and sad for him that he wouldn't be playing Spring and Summer baseball. But, super thankful he will be healthy and ready to be mobile after he heals. Surgery went better than expected the Doctor was able to remove 10 inches of his quad ligament instead of the 8 inches they thought they would be able to get. Once IN surgery the Doctors also found out that he tore his Meniscus and cleaned that out as well. Now with his knee fixed, he will be recovering for 6-9 months with physical therapy. Poor Kid... My sweet parents are so thoughtful and sent Evan this … [Read more...]
