Bumblebee’s are usually NOT fun when they attend one of your parties. However, these easy DYI edible bumblebees are just the perfect addition to YOUR next party! I just styled this amazing Bumblebee Birthday Party and thought I’d share how I made the BEE's. Using (4) Ingredients Black Jelly Beans, Black Decorating Gel, Sugar Paper, Yellow Jordan Almonds I started by placing the Almonds on a baking rack and drizzled Black Gel across the backs of the bees for their stripes. Next, I cut the rounded part off of the Jelly Bean for the bees head. Using the Decorating Gel, I attached the Jelly Bean to the Jordan Almond. Let the … [Read more...]
Easy Rice Krispie Halloween Treats
Everyone loves a good Rice Krispie treat! So, I say let's spice it up for the Holidays and add chocolate and sprinkles. My pantry ALWAYS has Wilton's candy melts in every color. I'm kinda obsessed. You can buy these at your local craft store. You can make your own Rice Krispie treats but my little secret when I don't have much time... I purchase the snack box at Costco. (Heehee) I have a Wilton's Melting Pot to melt my candies but IF you don't have one, you can place a handful in a microwave safe bowl and slowly heat. Melt + Stir, Melt + Stir until completely melted. Dip your treat halfway into the melted candies. Place to set … [Read more...]
Five Daughters Bakery
During my Mastermind Retreat my friends and I went to 12th South shopping and happened upon this delicious Five Daughters Bakery where we found the most amazing doughnuts! This particular Bakery prides themselves on having a flakey type treat. These doughnuts are so different than any other I've ever tried. They are super flakey almost like layers of a croissant. However, they aren't savory they are sweet! If you are in the Nashville area I highly recommend you stopping by for a special treat. … [Read more...]

Cake Toppers
Wedding season is around the corner and I wanted to share a few wedding cake topper ideas. I love this "best day ever" as well as the "love" on my blog page. I think these cake toppers are too FUN! The pineapple, flamingo, palm tree and cactus are actually Drink stirrers that I sell in my shop, but I use them on top of cakes or even cupcakes for some fun decorations. Cheers BITCHES! Pretty much sums up a Bachelorette Party or a FUN event with Girlfriends. This "diamond" cake topper and "bride to be" are super cute for bridal showers or bachelorette parties. The one thing I love about the acrylic cake toppers is that you … [Read more...]
St. Patrick’s Day Treats
Jason and I attended a St. Patrick's Day party. I wasn't sure what I wanted to make to take. Then, I remembered Rice Krispie treats are always a favorite. I bought the limited Edition (green only marshmallows) Lucky Charms and decided to make some treats with the same recipe as you would when your making Rice Krispie treats... INGREDIENTS: Cereal Marshmallows Butter MAKE: Melt butter and Marshmallows together on low heat in a large pan. Once everything is melted, remove from heat and add in the desired cereal. NCL Tea Party
I feel super honored to have been asked to bake and decorate 14 dozens of cookies for the end of the year Tea for The National Charity League. Although, I have a lot of things to learn when it comes to decorating and I'm still learning the tricks or the trade. Practice makes perfect, royal icing is hard to get perfect. I'm trying and will continue to practice. I was happy with the way they turned out. I was also excited that I was featured on Ernstopia blog, you can read her blog post HERE. Alyssa, did a whole post about the Tea Party and shared how she LOVED my cookies. Thank you! … [Read more...]

Eeeeek! I am so excited to be announcing these NEW little mini balloons have arrived in my SHOP! I love balloons but mini's are even better... they come 5 in one package and they are multi color in each package. I went to a Valentine's lunch last year and the host used these as a backdrop to her dessert table. I fell in LOVE! You can also use them as decorations on the table itself. You could hang them with some ribbon through a doorway or whatever you see fit. Have FUN with these little guys... they can hardly wait to get to your home and celebrate! … [Read more...]
Royal Icing
I had over 300 cookies to make for our High Schools baseball auction! I decided to make sugar cookies and do ROYAL ICING for the first time... I made stars and oscars for our Lights, Camera, Action theme. I used Sweet Topia's Royal Icing Recipe and I have to say... It was amazing! I can hardly believe it worked. For me the key was adding drops of water to get to the consistency I wanted for the perfect piping. I first piped the outside of the frosting then came back in and filled the inside. I also added edible glitter on the top to add a little sparkle to the design. So much FUN! I'm so happy to be done, but definitely would frost with Royal … [Read more...]
