Jenny Cookies Grand Opening
My friend Jenny Keller opened her very first Bakery Jenny Cookies Bake Shop this last weekend. I had the privilege of attending the Opening Day! Oh my goodness, the line to get in was out the door and around the corner! The Bakery is nestled in a small town North of Seattle, Washington called Lake Stevens. The Bakery was everything I imagined it to be and more... Besides all the yummy treats and cute decorations. I have to say my favorite was the custom tile work on the floor at the front entrance of the Bakery by Eylander Tile. On my way back home, I had lunch at Snohomish Pie Company and shopped all the vintage shops in downtown Snohomish. … [Read more...]

DIY Boxwood Backdrop
I styled this dessert table for a wedding in October. I loved how it turned out... I especially love the Boxwood Backdrop that I created. I've seen so much artificial Boxwood being used in Canada and thought to myself how can I incorporate this into my design. This is what I came up with! I also worked with an amazing graphic designer who created the monogram sign that I hung with clear wire floating in front of the Boxwood Backdrop. This look was so clean and classic. It was super easy... the Boxwood snaps together to create one big piece. I then zip tied the Boxwood to the poles for a finished look. This was simple but can be used for many … [Read more...]
