I'm obsessed with cake stands! I think they are perfect addition to your Thanksgiving table. I love that you don't ALWAYS have to use them with desserts on them. You can use them with pumpkins on top, flowers, candles and even appetizers. I love how a cake stand gives the table some height and dimension. I also think it's special to mix and match your styles... I love during the Holidays using hand me down dishes, plates and cake stands. These prints are created from a sweet friend of mine Valerie McKeehan owner of Lily & Val. Valerie is the most wonderful chalk artist. She started doodling chalk pieces years ago and realized she had a passion for being creative and even better yet people wanted to buy her pieces. Easy Rice Krispie Halloween Treats
Everyone loves a good Rice Krispie treat! So, I say let's spice it up for the Holidays and add chocolate and sprinkles. My pantry ALWAYS has Wilton's candy melts in every color. I'm kinda obsessed. You can buy these at your local craft store. You can make your own Rice Krispie treats but my little secret when I don't have much time... I purchase the snack box at Costco. (Heehee) I have a Wilton's Melting Pot to melt my candies but IF you don't have one, you can place a handful in a microwave safe bowl and slowly heat. Spooky Halloween Bar Cart
I always decorate my BAR CART for every season/event. It's such a FUN way to add decor to your home. I can get a lot of products and treats on this sweet little bundle of joy. I don't only add beverages, most times I include seasonal candies and whatever my heart desires. Montana Trip
We had so much FUN! This last week, we took a road trip with Evan's baseball team. We traveled through Oregon, Washington, Idaho to Montana. We went to Silverwood Water Park in Coeur d'Alene, we ate at some amazing restaurants along the way. We saw some beautiful countryside. Once we were in Montana, one day we all went to Hauser Lake for a boating team/parent bonding. The weather was great and the baseball was amazing! Evan's team WON the tournament, 5 games later they went undefeated... As we head into Evan's senior year of High School, realizing trips like these will be coming to an end. Last minute Father's Day Gift Guide... it's NOT too late to buy presents for your favorite Dad. Here are a few gifts we got for our Dad. Father's Day kickoff's off summer time so this year, the kids and I decided on casual attire for Jason. I LOVE having a BBQ on Memorial Day! I feel like it kicks off the Summer... The kids only have a few weeks left of school and Ellie is Graduating in 2 weeks (Eeeeek!)
