HELLO 2018

Happy New Year!!! I celebrated the New Year relaxing at home with Jason. We watched movies and watched the ball drop at midnight. I’m just starting to feel like myself again after being hit with the flu over Christmas. So, a relaxing end of the year was heavenly to me. I love making New Years Resolutions. As a child we made family Resolutions and I could hardly wait to read my goals from the prior year. After Christmas Sale

Warm and cozy at home today! Even though Christmas is over, I’m still obsessed with wearing red! This red ruffled sleeve sweater is 40% OFF today. Friends Holiday Gift Guide

This is my favorite time of year! I LOVE gift giving... I'm also loving everything red & black with accents of copper. It has been an absolute whirlwind around here at Johnston Style, I opened my very first brick and mortar store on Black Friday. I am feeling very blessed that this opportunity was presented my way and I took the bull by the horns and decided to jump in. I would have NEVER decided to open a store this time of the year. Happy Black Friday

  Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! I’m not out Black Friday shopping this year – I started my morning off with opening my "Pop-Up" shop! I can't tell you how much FUN this has been. Later, in the day we attended our local High School football team's game, they made it into the semi-final 6A playoffs... {we WON!} a bunch of us celebrated and went to an early dinner. I just got home and I am staying in for the rest of the night cozied up in a comfy blanket watching Hallmark channel + shopping online! The season for holiday corporate events and ugly Christmas sweaters is upon us and it’s important to not arrive empty handed! It’s quite an undertaking to invite groups of people into your home! The Keepsake Kitchen Diary

These prints are created from a sweet friend of mine Valerie McKeehan owner of Lily & Val. Valerie is the most wonderful chalk artist. She started doodling chalk pieces years ago and realized she had a passion for being creative and even better yet people wanted to buy her pieces. The Simplified Planner Is Back

Today is THE DAY! The Launch of the 2017-2018 Simplified Planner... I find a lot of joy in planning ahead. It makes me feel at peace and helps me to prepare for what’s coming up. It helps me stay on top of my responsibilities and it holds me accountable for the things I don’t enjoy (like cleaning the floors!). Four years ago I attended The Inspired Retreat where I was honored to have met Emily Ley.
