Hurricane Harvey Relief

Hello friends, I'm writing today with a heavy heart... Hurricane Harvey has hit Houston. I was just in Waco, not even a month ago and I'm in shock over the devastation that the Hurricane caused. List of Donation Relief from The Freckled Fox  TO HELP WITH FUNDS   - Global Giving has set up a relief fund that currently has over $650,000 in donations with a goal to reach 2 million. Eighteen years ago when I became a Mom, I never dreamed of THIS Summer. Eighteen years ago- I waited for teeth to come in, for her to eat solid foods, what size of diapers to purchase, what theme her birthday party would be, what she would wear on Halloween. Happy Birthday, Evan!

Yesterday, was Evan's 17th Birthday! I can hardly believe my baby boy is seventeen... What an amazing "sixteen" he had. Evan under went ACL (knee) surgery and I am so proud of his hard work and dedication with his Physical Therapy as well as working out. It's so hard when you are so active and then the next day on the couch. He is taking baby steps and improving everyday! I found this letter (a few years ago) another Blogger wrote to her son. Last minute Father's Day Gift Guide... it's NOT too late to buy presents for your favorite Dad. Here are a few gifts we got for our Dad. Father's Day kickoff's off summer time so this year, the kids and I decided on casual attire for Jason. Happy Friday! I'm so excited it's Memorial Day weekend... but, I'm even more excited to share with you my favorite picks from The Nordstrom Half- Yearly Sale. I'm loving sundresses, with the weather warming up I think a sweet sundress is perfect for errands during the day and a easy transition into date night. Pink Is The New Black

I write this post with a heavy heart... The Friday before Mother's Day my Mom found out she has Breast Cancer. Today, she under went surgery. We pray, We wait, We love... Last weekend, I attended a fashion show that a friend of mine invited me to. I knew it was a Fundraiser but not really sure what for- as the fashion show started I almost fell off my chair when Dr. Hu thanked all of us for helping support breast cancer awareness. With the money they raise they are able to gift these amazing bags to their cancer patiences in their time of need.
