This last weekend, Jason and I took a quick trip to Vegas. We went with our friends and had such a FUN time. Why is it so easy to stay up late night in Vegas but when I'm home I want to be in bed at 9pm? One thing on my bucket list was going to Serendipity and treating ourselves to frozen hot chocolates... Jason and I shared an amaretto almond and our friends shared a mint chocolate chip. Can I just say "yummy" I just had a couple sips because dairy makes my stomach ache. Hello, look at how much whipping cream was on these! Super fun and playful... I'm so glad we stopped by and I'm so glad we took this relaxing trip! Sometimes weekend trips … [Read more...]
Sprinkle Party
My sweet friend came into town the other week from the East Coast. She was in Oregon for a Conference that she was speaking at. (cheer!) I was able to sneak her away for a little lunch and ice cream treat while she was in town. During lunch she says to me "What do you think I should get from your SHOP for a Sprinkle Party I'm hosting?" I reply... "What's a Sprinkle Party? Sounds FUN!" She explained to me that a "Sprinkle Party" is like a baby shower! I hadn't ever heard of it called that... So cute! Well, of course I could help her... She told me the color theme and above is what I came up with. You can find all these FUN goodies on … [Read more...]

Cottage Style
One of my favorite blogger McKenna Bleu reviled on her BLOG her newly decorated apartment in San Diego. I'm completely in love with her cute cottage style coffee/end tables as well as her adorable kitchen chairs. McKenna is seriously the cutest- I have to say she nailed this decorating design perfectly. I love that its crisp and clean, I love that she used elements of decoration that she found while she was traveling, to me that is what makes your house a home. The cottage style coffee table is my favorite... the grey washed top and the worn white iron gives any living space a fresh comfortable vibe. Check out the table Grove Hill collection … [Read more...]

Tulip Festival
Ok- truth be told, I have NEVER been to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Oregon! I love tulips and I was lucky enough that my Aunt's best friend owned a tulip farm in Hillsboro, Oregon. As a child I got to venture out into the fields of tulips! Such fun childhood memories. Every year, I talk about going to this Festival which is located in Woodburn, Oregon. I so happy to say... this year I made it! I was beautiful... I'm a freak about color and I was in Heaven. Rows and rows of Tulips. Every color combination you could think of and so many variety of styles. My sweet Ellie joined me. I will go back every year from this point on! … [Read more...]

Ok guys, This was so much FUN! This last weekend was so full of Birthday parties, dinners. Yes- we survived and had a blast doing it all. But, I'd have to say the paintball party was the highlight of my the weekend. My sweet friend Barb wanted to get families together for a little paintball tournament for her Birthday. I wasn't so sure that sounded like something I wanted to do. Because it was her Birthday wish I was completely was game and had no idea what we would be getting into. Spring Front Porch
Spring is in the air.... I found these sweet flowers the other day and decided to hang them on my front porch trellis. I bought the trellis last Summer and painted it. I tucked it in the garage during the Winter season and I was super happy to pull it out and decorate it for the Spring. I used framing wire to adhere the flowers to the trellis. I organized my flowers in a color pattern. I wasn't quite sure how many I needed when I originally purchased my flowers and I came up short, so I had to go back for more to add to the trellis. I'm so excited about the way it turned out. I'm even more excited that it's Spring! Happy Wednesday Friends! … [Read more...]
