Happy New Year! I love decorating for the Holidays but there is something so freeing to pack it up and put it all away when the Season is over. I also love entertaining during the Season so my pantry begins to be the caught all for a lot of leftovers. I had half eaten boxes of crackers, 4 extra cans of frosting, extra candies for decorating. I bought three boxes of Chex cereal so I could make Chex Mex but never got around to it. INGREDIENTS: 1/2 cup unsalted butter 3/4 cup corn syrup 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 Tablespoon chipotle pepper seasoning 1 Tablespoon smoked paprika 3 cups rice chex cereal 3 cups corn chex cereal 2 cups mini pretzels 1 cup peanuts 1 cup cashews INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F. INGREDIENTS: • 1 batch boxed brownie mix • 1/2 cup salted peanuts, if don't have salted, add sea salt • 1 cup chopped Reese's peanut butter cups • 1 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips • 1 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter • 1/2 tablespoon butter • 1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies Cereal INSTRUCTIONS: • Mix the brownies according to their instructions - and bake them for 20 to 25 minutes in a 9 x 13 baking dish. • Remove and top with peanuts and peanut butter cups, and bake for 4 to 6 minutes more. • While they are finishing baking, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter.
