It's that time of the year when we CELEBRATE Graduates! I'm completely in love with our new Black & White themed supplies. It's super classy and can be used for either a Boy or Girl Grad Parties. I know, I know... Your says "Amy, no one is hosting Grad parties this year due to social distancing". Well, you are right BUT- Celebrating someone's achievements doesn't mean you can't CELEBRATE! It just means you do it differently. You could decorate a corner of kitchen like the first photo above. Make or buy a yummy dessert then decorate around it. Believe me when I say your Grad will LOVE IT! Congratulations Class of 2020! … [Read more...]

Home & Family
Ok, so I’m not as fancy as I think! But my sweet friend Jenny Keller IS... I met Jenny years ago as I began following her on Instagram. It was when she just launched her new cookbook “EAT MORE DESSERTS” and Jenny also lives in the Pacific Northwest like ME. I live in Oregon and Jenny lives in Seattle. (she is just 3 hrs. north) After following her for awhile she started hosting cookie bake shops and events in the Seattle area. I signed up and attended each and every event I could! She is such a genuinely sweet person, she is soft spoken and the salt of the earth. Jenny has worked with a number of celebrities over the years including … [Read more...]

S’mores Station
I bought this adorable console table from POTTERY BARN years ago. I use to stain it (natural) every year with my backyard furniture that matched. Last year, I finally got rid of the backyard furniture but I kept this sweet table and decided to turn it into a s'mores station and put it by our fire pit. Last year, I painted the table BLACK! But, for some crazy reason the paint I used didn't weather so well. This last weekend I gave it another coat... This time, I used Behr Paint. I'm hoping for a better result. Looks better, RIGHT? DIY Edible Bumblebee
Bumblebee’s are usually NOT fun when they attend one of your parties. However, these easy DYI edible bumblebees are just the perfect addition to YOUR next party! I just styled this amazing Bumblebee Birthday Party and thought I’d share how I made the BEE's. Using (4) Ingredients Black Jelly Beans, Black Decorating Gel, Sugar Paper, Yellow Jordan Almonds I started by placing the Almonds on a baking rack and drizzled Black Gel across the backs of the bees for their stripes. Next, I cut the rounded part off of the Jelly Bean for the bees head. Using the Decorating Gel, I attached the Jelly Bean to the Jordan Almond. Let the … [Read more...]
Gifts For The Hostess
The season for holiday corporate events and ugly Christmas sweaters is upon us and it’s important to not arrive empty handed! It’s quite an undertaking to invite groups of people into your home! You know … getting the house cleaned and decorated, preparing hor d’oeuvres, curating and sending invite, following up on invites and keeping everyone entertained! The host or hostess would never ask for a thank you, but it’s common courtesy to bring a little something to show your appreciation for their time and effort. It could be something as small as a bottle of wine (love this faux wine bag) as a fun way to present your gift! Or as generous as a … [Read more...]
Easy Rice Krispie Halloween Treats
Everyone loves a good Rice Krispie treat! So, I say let's spice it up for the Holidays and add chocolate and sprinkles. My pantry ALWAYS has Wilton's candy melts in every color. I'm kinda obsessed. You can buy these at your local craft store. You can make your own Rice Krispie treats but my little secret when I don't have much time... I purchase the snack box at Costco. (Heehee) I have a Wilton's Melting Pot to melt my candies but IF you don't have one, you can place a handful in a microwave safe bowl and slowly heat. Melt + Stir, Melt + Stir until completely melted. Dip your treat halfway into the melted candies. Place to set … [Read more...]
