Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday, the kids and I ventured off and went to the Pumpkin Patch! Lee's Farms- It's our favorite! We met some friends there and had a wonderful time. The weather on the other hand didn't look so good... but we still were able to get most of our amazing photos in BEFORE the sky went black and a HUGE rain storm arrived! Eeeeeek! Jason and I have been taking the kids to the Pumpkin Patches since they were babies. We've gone on fieldtrips to the Pumpkin Patches and to be honest I'm hoping this tradition NEVER ends. Ducks Meet Buffalos

Last weekend, Jason and I went to Boulder, Colorado for the Ducks Football game! We went with a group of friends... Before the game, we went to a HUGE tailgate party -right in the center of the campus. This tailgate had a Hawaiian Tiki Bar and a ICED Buffalo head where you could take shots (oh my) I loved the set up... you could watch TV if you wanted to follow other college games that were playing before our game- which pretty much was EVERY college game! Our game was suppose to start at 8pm MT. But, there was a "Thunder" delay... Making the game delayed for about one hour and fifteen minutes! Fall in Colorado

Hotel Boulderado Last weekend Jason and I visited Boulder, Colorado. A group of friends came with us to watch University of Oregon play againist Colorado University- We stayed at this Historic Hotel called Hotel Boulderado. It was built in 1909... Cafe Momentum

A week ago, I was watching a television show called "The Chew" and I saw this amazing segment about a man with a HUGE Heart! Chef Chad Houser offered 3 young men a job... these children were incarcerated before the age of 18 for non-violent crimes. These boys have been labeled by the juvenile justice system as "throwaways"- children who were discarded by society. Therefore, Cafe Momentum was born. For more than three years, Houser had 41 pop-up dinners around the city, (Dallas, TX) working with 172 kids. Once the concept grew Houser decided to open a permanent location... Reclaimed Wood

Loving this WALL! My friends Husband created this amazing staircase wall with reclaimed wood. I think it turned out just beautifully. Way to go CHRIS!... He found this wonderful Lumber Mill in Sandy, Oregon called Olaf M. Oja Lumber Co. Olaf's has been in business for 61 years! They remanufacture lumber by resawing and planing, and sell dinmensional lumber of Cedar, Pine, Douglas Fir, pressure treated materials also items for decks, fencing and plywood. I love home grown farming companies like this one. It has a special place in my heart. Jason's Grandfather was a Farmer and owned a Logging Company in Birkenfeld, Oregon.
