A few weeks ago, I read a blog post about this sweet nineteen year old who committed suicide. I knew I had to share her story... Madison Halleran was a College Freshman at UPenn, she committed suicide by jumping off the top of a parking garage. She was a student Athlete, a Friend, a Daughter, a Sister. (beautiful inside and out) She appeared to have everything going for her. I cried many tears and still have a knot in my throat thinking about her. Her tragic story seemed to have something to do with her perception of her friends on Social Media. Specifically, on Instagram. She battled Metal Health Issues- How could someone so talented and … [Read more...]

Seashells for the Seaside
I got this adorable Lilly Pulitzer top from Target awhile back when they had their Lilly for Target Event. I've been waiting for the right time to wear it... I thought it was perfect for this last weekend at the Beach. This top has cute Sand Dollars all over it. My shorts also are from Lilly for Target, they are white Eyelet shorts which are super comfortable! I'm also totally loving my Mini Kate Spade Handbag. Independence Day
We had a wonderful Holiday weekend at the Beach. We made the most of our Fourth of July... I started my day with a Spicy Bloody Mary (NomNom) and watched the Local Seaside Parade, after the Parade we then met up with my cousins. All the kids swam, surfed, bogey boarded and made sand castles. We spent the whole day on the Beach. We headed back to town for a Pizza dinner before watching fireworks. I'm still recovering from such a fun time. Today, I grocery shopped, watered plants and finished about five (5) loads of laundry. Hope you all enjoyed your Holiday weekend. Happy Monday! … [Read more...]

Celebrate Seaside
We made it to Seaside, the kids brought friends with them to help celebrate the 4th of July. The weather is amazing! Sunny and Hot... Portland is only an hour and a half away from the Coast. It is such a easy road trip. Today, Portland was 98 degrees and in Seaside it was 70 degrees. The kids had a blast playing in the ocean, walking the Boardwalk, riding rides and just enjoying Life at the Beach. We are excited getting ready for the Firework show on Saturday! We can hardly wait. … [Read more...]
July 4th Backyard BBQ
Are you celebrating America's Birthday? Decorate in Red, White and Blue. Jenny Keller author of "Eat More Dessert" designed and decorated this FUN 4th of July theme. I just love the galvanized container filled with Bike decorations, this is such a cute idea. Have your "little" guests bring their bikes and get them all jazzed up just in time for the local parade. I'm obsessed with these cute Mason styled drink holders with- guess?... adorable straws. Decorate a dessert table- I love how Jenny used a vintage table to highlight her desserts. When entertaining, I love making self serve stations this enables me more time to visit with guests and … [Read more...]

Tacoma Experience
We had such a FUN weekend! Friday afternoon Evan had a double header, won one game and lost the second. Bummer... Saturday, we went to the River all day and road our new SeaDoos! (Jason surprised the kids a couple weeks ago) The weather in Portland has been in the triple digits. On Sunday, we went up to Tacoma, Washington to watch a Tacoma Rainiers Baseball game. Jason purchased this amazing Baseball experience through our Clackamas Baseball Auction. We were able to bring twenty (20) friends to the luxury suite, VIP parking, and an on field/dugout time. Evan brought a bunch of his Baseball friends and Ellie brought a few of her girlfriends. … [Read more...]
