Hillsboro Hops

Last night, we had so much FUN! Attending our very First Hillsboro Hops Baseball game! We took Jason's "summer car" our Jeep Rubicon out for a trip across town. :) The weather couldn't have been more perfect. The Hops played another Oregon Minor league team The Salem/Keizer Volcanoes. Hillsboro Hops beat the Volcanes 4-1. This was a relaxing Family summer event, to did together. I can't believe how fast these little kids of mine are growing up. Summer Pool Essentials

Pool Floats

Boys in Donuts are too CUTE Strawberry Donut  Chocolate Donut  I got the kids these adorable Donut Floats for the pool! I got Ellie Strawberry and Evan Chocolate- We ended up going to the River the other Day and took them with us. This was a lifesaver! The weather in Oregon has been SUPER warm. Urban Fondue

This last Saturday was Evan's Birthday! We had such a FUN evening... Evan had a Baseball Tournament all weekend, so making plans for dinner was kinda difficult. Once we knew his game times on Saturday I was able to make reservations. Evan chose this yummy Fondue place in NW Portland. Jason and I have been there before with friends but thought it would be something the kids would like as well. Our reservations were at 9pm (ugh!) Chocolate Ice Cream Cake

We celebrated my Parents Birthdays this last weekend! Happy Birthday Mom and Dad... They both turned "70!" Evan snapped this adorable selfie of all three of them. (I love it) I made this yummy Chocolate Ice Cream Cake for them. I've never made it before, but I had it as a child... My Mom always entertained and made not only amazing dinners but she also made delicious desserts. This being one of them... She gave me this recipe years ago but I just had to share it with y'all. About Town

Summer nights are so much FUN! Evan's playing Summer Baseball between practices and games, he hardly has time in the evening to go out "about town". Last night he didn't have any Baseball and he was able to have an evening with his two very favorite people! His Mom and his friend Lauren. Evan took us to PorQue No for dinner and then we went to Salt & Straw for dessert. The weather was sunny and warm which made for a perfect night.
