Cinco de Mayo Bar Cart
I hope you had a great Cinco de Mayo?! Y’all LOVED my styled bar cart I shared on Instagram. So, I wanted to share it here on the blog as well. I made this adorable grab -n go appetizer/drink bar cart. Which featured individual layered dip, chips and Corona beer. This idea makes entertaining so easy. All the prep is done ahead of time. I layered my favorite taco/dip ingredients in small plastic containers. Starting with refried beans, sour cream, sprinkled taco seasoning then added guacamole. Topped with tomatoes, green onions, olives & cheese. I ended up using a baggie cutting the corner and piped the beans, sour cream & guacamole … [Read more...]
Crustless Pumpkin Pie
Ramekins | Gold Stand | Nail Polish I’ve never made soufflés before now! I just bought these adorable individual ceramic ramekins with lids and instantly thought Pumpkin Pies would be perfect. I couldn’t figure out how to add the crust so I decided why not try crustless pies. They are amazing! Truth is I LOVE the crust of the pie probably better than the filling. I made the soufflés just like a regular pumpkin pie but baked it a bit differently. I poured the pumpkin mixture into each ramekin and then set the ramekins into a 9x13 baking dish. I boiled water on the stove in a separate pan and added it to the outside of the ramekins … [Read more...]

Mad For Plaid
I am crazy about Plaid this Holiday season! I found these adorable plates and I just had to share them with you. First of all, I found the plates and knew they would be perfect for a Christmas Celebration. I also found these stag dessert/salad plates with coordinating antler napkin rings. Which added a rustic element to the plaid plate, I then added a solid red plate under the plaid one for dimension and a Holiday feeling. The green napkin was another color I pulled off of the plaid plate. But all in all when it came together, this is what it looked like. Next, I'll add flowers to the table, glasses and silverware. Then, let the party … [Read more...]

Sprinkle Party
My sweet friend came into town the other week from the East Coast. She was in Oregon for a Conference that she was speaking at. (cheer!) I was able to sneak her away for a little lunch and ice cream treat while she was in town. During lunch she says to me "What do you think I should get from your SHOP for a Sprinkle Party I'm hosting?" I reply... "What's a Sprinkle Party? Sounds FUN!" She explained to me that a "Sprinkle Party" is like a baby shower! I hadn't ever heard of it called that... So cute! Well, of course I could help her... She told me the color theme and above is what I came up with. You can find all these FUN goodies on … [Read more...]
